Design and Manufacturing of Small Scale Tsunami Simulator Channel

Increasing the cost of in-situ or field tests to solve engineering problems, particularly water engineering, pushes researchers worldwide simulate different problems using small-scale physical modeling like soil erosion, hydraulic jump, flow, and underground water. This paper focuses on design, manufacturing, calibration 6 m tsunami simulator channel investigate wave behavior with time until it reaches shore beach. The new generator capable recreating scaled tidal waves, tsunamis in laboratory, has advanced significantly. working principles behind its first stages testing validate capacities limitations are discussed this paper. Each part been represented; model preparation have discussed. Well, agreement height is noticed (14 cm), replicated that can reproduce solitary waves high steepness.
